Who We Are…
Dr. Sawka was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba. She graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Dr. Sawka has 31 years of clinical and emergency medicine experience. In 2006 she started up Animal Ark a house call Veterinary service. Dr. Sawka is a member of the Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association, where she has served as Public Image Representative, and is a member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association as well as the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. She has also worked for the Winnipeg Humane Society travelling up north to Churchill, Manitoba to do Spay and Neuter Clinics.

Dr. Sawka enjoys hiking, yoga, cross-country skiiing, gardening and time at the cottage. She and her family share their home with their three cats, Laser, Dmitri, Timothy Ray Jones, and one granddog, Winston.
